Whole Child Leon’s Chopped Junior Competition Selects Finalists
The Tallahassee Chopped Junior Competition and Silent Auction, which took place on October 30 and benefitted Whole Child Leon, was a huge success! The fun and food-filled event drew more than 350 attendees, including sponsors, parents, contestants and other special guests.
Chopped Executive Producer Linda Lea and celebrity culinary chefs judged the 50 budding chefs who brought dishes to the competition which were prepared according to contestant guidelines. The evening culminated with nine finalists who were selected to audition for the Chopped Junior program on the Food Network:

The unique and spectacular event also featured a silent and live auction as well as a restaurant challenge, winners of which were:
Audience Favorite – The Blu Halo’s Ahi Tuna Poke
Judges Favorite – Q-Ti Cakes’ Peach Cobbler Cupcake
Most Creative – Burrito Boarder’s Al Pastor Street Tacos
